Questions

  • A business or personal account verified with PAN, Aadhaar or GST. Then buy a +91 number in the console, create a SIP trunk, and point your agent at it.

  • Any SIP client. We have step-by-step guides for Vapi, Retell AI, ElevenLabs, LiveKit, Pipecat, Ultravox, OpenAI Realtime, Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, 3CX and Kamailio.

  • SIP server 43.204.9.41, port 5060, over UDP or TCP. Login is your trunk’s username and password. Audio is G.711 μ-law or A-law, with RTP on UDP ports 10000–20000.

  • When you dial out, 91XXXXXXXXXX and +91XXXXXXXXXX both work. On calls to your number, Vonyx sends the number as 91XXXXXXXXXX, without the plus.

  • No. The caller ID must be one of your Vonyx numbers, and a call from any other number is refused with SIP 429. It’s one of the reasons Vonyx numbers stay clean.

  • New accounts start with one call at a time and one new call per second. Write to us and we’ll raise both for your workload.

  • You keep a prepaid wallet in rupees and top it up by UPI or card. Calls are billed per connected minute from 45 paise, and each number renews every 28 days.

  • Yes. The Call API places an outbound call with one request and streams its audio to your WebSocket, as 16-bit PCM or μ-law at 8 or 16 kHz.
